| Distance
Learning lets you take advantage
of the resources of Stowell Learning Center from home.
Parents
who live too far from our offices to drive their child for in-office
treatment choose our distance learning option over other options
closer to home.
Here's why. . .
-
They want the experience and expertise of Jill Stowell
and her staff. Few professionals have her track record of treating
over 4,000 students over a 23 year period.
-
Jill's unwavering conviction that learning difficulties
can be eliminated in the vast majority of children, and
measurably reduced in the remaining small minority, is unique
in the profession.
Her opinion is backed by successful case histories. Parents choose
Stowell Learning Center because others offer only better coping
mechanisms.
-
Stowell Learning Center does not offer a cookie cutter approach,
but provides programming based on each student's specific needs.
The programs and techniques used have consistently produced dramatic
results, making permanent changes for students and families.
-
Through coaching and support by phone, many of the programs and
techniques used at the Stowell Learning Center can be adapted
for successful use at home.
Parents
have a distance learning consultant to help them every step of the
way.
There
are several reasons parents choose the distance learning option:
- The
family lives in an area that has few or no options to adequately
treat their child.
- The
family may live outside of driving distance to the Stowell Learning
Center
- Some
parents have been disappointed by poor results through programs
at school or other education centers or private practices. They
are drawn to Stowell Learning Center because of the results others
have experienced.
Here's how to get started. . .
Call Liz at (909) 598-2482 for a
Free 20-minute, no obligation consultation. Liz directs our distance
learning program and will be able to give you information more specific
to your child and situation.
She will also send you the Stowell Learning Center Information Kit
.
-
Review the Information Kit and call to make an appointment
for your child's assessment. If you live in Southern California,
we strongly advise that you consider coming to the Stowell Learning
Center for the initial assessment.
-
Sign up for the distance learning option. The assessment
will let us know the type and degree of your child's learning
difficulties. This assessment is the basis for the program we
design for your child.
All necessary materials will be sent to you with step-by-step
instructions of how to implement and supervise the program at
home. You will have weekly phone or email consultations to monitor
and oversee the progress of your child.
Distance Learning can produce results. . . at home.
Children
who follow the program outlined for their specific challenges get
results, whether meeting with us face to face in the office or working
with a parent at home.
The
quality of the outcome for your child is based on carefully designed,
proven programs, not your skill at teaching. Parents are primarily
in a support role to make sure the child uses his or her individualized
program correctly and regularly.
You're
never alone throughout the assessment and treatment program. We
have successfully guided many parents and their children through
this process.
Distance is no longer an obstacle to getting the help you need.
We
developed the Distance Learning program for you because your child's
success, now and in the future, depends on dealing with the underlying
problems that interfere with the ability to learn.
Parents
who come to us are often desperate for an answer. We understand
desperation. But when your child begins to gain confidence and real
skills - which can occur in a matter of weeks - you'll be glad you
took the step to call us.
Please
contact us about these programs for more details.
