Stowell Learning Center provides programs for struggling learners and training and support for professionals in the education field.

Individuals with attention challenges and learning disabilities, including dyslexia, can learn and can become successful students. At the Sowell Learning Center, we help people of all ages overcome learning challenges, including dyslexia, ADD, autistic spectrum disorders, auditory processing disorders, and learning disabilities, by developing underlying processing skills critical to academic and social success.

  • Our various programs and strategies are research-based and among the most highly effective available.
  • We help students develop the mental tools needed to be comfortable, independent learners
  • Each student’s program is completely individualized to meet his or her needs in the areas of processing skills, attention, oral and written language and communication, comprehension, social skills, reading, spelling, math, and study skills.
  • We offer distance learning programs.
  • We train teachers, learning center directors, and therapists.

By combining a deep respect for the learner with an understanding of learning based on how the brain develops and learns, we bring independence and success into the learning process.
